I cannot believe another year came to a close! Who else soaks in all the year end, new beginnings?! 🙋♀️
I absolutely love a new planner with my favorite pens, new goals, and the fresh start! I also love looking back on the years past and taking a trip down memory lane.
We hosted our first annual Old Moose Market Days on Mother’s Day weekend last year and it brought me so much joy! We had 30 vendors, live music, food trucks, and so much fun. We are planning on doing this again for the year 2022 and making it even better! Vendor registration will be open within the next week for this event.
Every August we take a family road trip before the kids start school. This year we did a road trip through Montana visiting Kyle’s family along the way. It was so great to see everyone and for the kids to experience time with their cousins.
I have said before and I will say it again, I would much rather go junking then spend time on a beach! We love our twice a year junking trips! Not only do we find fun things but we also have so many adventures together. 😀
Both of my kids are now in elementary and it warms my heart to see how well they are doing! They each love school and being around their friends. My favorite time is our drives to and from school. I usually hear about the stories from the day or we have a car dance party to our favorite tunes.
We tackled the project of opening a coffee shop in the back of one of my stores. This was a huge learning curve for me but I am so thankful of our Roaster, Bindles Coffee and Shalyn my go to gal. When I was in college I always loved going to coffee shops to study. The setting and vibe was always so comforting to me. I am so grateful for all the community support.
Speaking of community, Torrington Wyoming is hopping these days! We have had a few businesses open downtown and it makes my heart explode when I see our downtown really thriving like back in the days! Now who wants to open a restaurant?! 🤔
Kyle and I celebrated ten years of marriage this year and I am finally starting to rub off on him 😃! We have gotten in the groove of working out in the mornings together, drinking our green drink, and focusing on eating wholesome food. When the person you hang out with the most is on board with your health goals, it makes it so much easier to stick too! 🥂 to year 2022’s health goals!
We are so lucky to have immediate family so close. I cannot thank our families enough. They are there to help with the kids, building projects, coffee runs, remodels, furniture moving, and just good quality time together. Love them all ❤️
Christmas time in the retail business is 🍌! We start end of October and go to the first of the year. You would think I would be sick of Christmas celebrating that long but it is magical. I love seeing families together, smiling faces, and Christmas cheer. I am always sad to see it go.
Trusting that God has a bigger plan than I has been a struggle for quite some time for me. This year I decided to put my PT career on hold to follow other opportunities that have come my way. This is scary but also exciting. I don’t know what the future holds for me but I am at peace not feeling like I have to know. ❤️
I am so thankful for all of you for taking the time to read my posts! My goal is to share with you consistently this next year! I hope you will continue to join me!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS!
Love, Taryn
